Expanding the Exhale: Breath in Relationship to the Diaphragm and Lungs - Online Study Group

There are many techniques to work with our breath, but in this study group, we will focus on how to release the control or mastery over the breath in order to allow the breath to flow effortlessly and bring nourishment to our cells. We will explore the biomechanics of breathing in relationship to the diaphragm and lungs, and learn tangible Ortho-Bionomy techniques to work with these structures. Receive a simple exercise to use with clients to expand the lung capacity three-dimensionally, and discover how moving from the lungs enables more flexibility and range of movement through the whole torso.

Pre-homework, and handouts will be sent prior to the start of class along with Zoom login details.
