Participants will explore the physiology of trauma, and ethical decision-making from the principles and lens of Ortho-Bionomy®.
Topics include the following:
· Introduction to the Biological Model of Trauma - including the Enteric Nervous system and the Dorsal/Vagal system.
· The Philosophy and concept of Ortho-Bionomy in relationship to the Code of Ethics and the Biological Model of Trauma.
How the Biological Model of Trauma relates to our emotional experiences.
· Connecting and strengthening our gut-level knowing in relationship to ethics and decision making.
· The Relationship between the Biological Model of Trauma and our Scope of Practice and Ethics.
· Working with ethical dilemmas.
· Understanding the trademarks of The Society of Ortho-Bionomy International®.

This class will be delivered via Zoom over four daily 4-hour sessions with a 30-minute break each day. No practice partner is required. September 23-24 (Thurs-Fri), September 30-October 1 (Thurs-Fri) from 12-4 PM EST.
Prerequisites: 16 Hours of any Ortho-Bionomy class
Live attendance of this online class is required.
