Participants will explore the physiology of trauma, and ethical decision-making from the principles and lens of Ortho-Bionomy®.
Topics include the following:
Introduction to the Biological Model of Trauma - including the Enteric Nervous system and the Dorsal/Vagal system.
The Philosophy and concept of Ortho-Bionomy in relationship to the Code of Ethics and the Biological Model of Trauma.
How the Biological Model of Trauma relates to our emotional experiences.
Connecting and strengthening our gut-level knowing as it relates to ethics and decision making.
The Relationship between the Biological Model of Trauma and our Scope of Practice and Ethics.
Working with ethical dilemmas.
Understanding the trademarks of The Society of Ortho-Bionomy International®.
