In this study group, we will focus on honing your sensing and listening skills through a Phase 5 connection. A central theme in this course will be learning to perceive the differences between following a repeating pattern of movement in Phase 5 versus facilitating a response or new patterns of awareness through the nervous system. Some of the elements we will cover include:
Increase proprioceptive awareness and comfort in not doing as a Practitioner to allow the wisdom of the client’s body to respond
Recognize right timing of a Phase 5 release and practice the art of being
Recognize and explore techniques and resources to come into relationship with tissue that may hold unresolved trauma
Explore each reflex (Rebound, Recoil, Follow-On, Ongoing Action, Regret/Remembered Emotional Response, Ciny Time Zone, Volery, and Space Between the Notes) through developing an awareness of sensing them energetically and physically in our own bodies
Discern the options of waiting for a reflex to respond in its right timing and introducing a reflex to elicit a change in a pattern

Out of courtesy to the instructor and other students, please be mindful not to be walking, traveling in a vehicle, in your jujitsu class, or otherwise occupied with other tasks with your camera on. We are happy for you to tune in live during any of those activities, but without your camera or sound on. As a reminder, you cannot receive credit if your camera is off. In general, the best rule is to treat online courses like an in person one.
